United States

Corruption is one of the evils that most affect our society. According to data of transparency international corruption is considered a third of how unbridled American countries, being the two countries with less perception of corruption, United States and Canada, therefore the problem this more than anything in Latin America, being so things not strange the difference of development between the two regions. Similarly, the Latin country best qualified in this regard is Chile, therefore not surprised its exemplary economic growth in recent years. But how it influences the development of our countries? We put examples. Imagine that an invitation to tender is opened to build a road and enters money under the table for policy makers to assess the options presented, resulting in the election of a contractor that is not appropriate. Do you see that reflected in the society? Streets presenting problems still virtually new, which accordingly bring more damage to the vehicles, more accidents on the road, more difficulty that employers transport your goods, etc.

Let’s look at another case. Suppose that he is a driver driving; the just got out of a bar in some communal feasts a Saturday at midnight along the road at high speed and drunken, suddenly a transit policeman stops him and the case ends in a bribe so that the authority is quedita. Driver follows and a few kilometers after an accident with fatalities. Those cases I have just mentioned are clearly known as corruption, cases in which there is a corrupter and a corrupt that takes advantage of his public office for personal benefit. However there are other ways of arriving at undesirable for society results without having to exactly be a corrupter, but just as there are corrupt and therefore there is corruption. Let’s take the case of the driver from another point of view: suppose that clearly drunk driver goes driving but there is no traffic on the road while you know that evenings on weekends is when There is more road accidents by drunk drivers and even more so when there are communal feasts.
